Job Description
In this 8-to-10-week program, our intern will work closely with INTERA scientists and engineers to provide fate and transport evaluation support to INTERA projects. A key responsibility of this position is to perform groundwater/vadose zone modeling tasks, requiring knowledge of numerical computer methods, groundwater/vadose zone simulators and interfaces, and an understanding of hydrogeologic principles and practices in developing appropriate conceptual models of groundwater aquifer systems.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards a college degree in engineering, hydrogeology, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Completed coursework in environmental engineering, water treatment, groundwater resources, hydrogeology, and chemistry are desirable
